On the 17th March 2016, Greens Catering were delighted to cater a pop-up restaurant in association with Maggie’s Oxford. The night was held in the Maggie’s Treehouse in the grounds of the Churchill Hospital, Oxford.
Tickets were sold in advance and numbers this year were double that of last year and we are delighted to announce that the total raised from the evening is £2530.
The menu on the evening, devised by Mike Green Director and Executive Chef of Green’s Catering was as followed:

Chicken Liver Parfait
With spiced tomato chutney and chargrilled brioche
Salad of Roast Portobello Mushroom
With feta, walnuts and sticky pomegranate dressing
Seared Scallop with Pea and White Truffle Puree
Smoked crispy bacon and micro herb salad

Sun Blushed Tomato and Pesto Stuffed Breast of Chicken
Creamy mashed potatoes, confit garlic green beans and carrot puree
Rolled Pork Belly
Oxford blue and apple arancini, creamed leeks & asparagus served with apple puree
Ricotta and Butternut Cannelloni
Sage cream, tomato concasse and pumpkin crisps

Quenelle of Chocolate Mousse
With poached fruits and spun sugar
Raspberry Frangipane Tart
Peach gel and honey cress

Maggie’s Oxfordshire
Maggie’s Oxford provides practical, emotional and social support to help people find their own way through cancer. Based at the Churchill Hospital in Oxford the Centre is open Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, as a place to find free practical help about benefits and eating well; a place where qualified experts offer emotional support; a place to meet other people or simply to sit quietly with a cup of tea.
We offer support for anyone with cancer at any stage, and their family and friends. Our Centre is in the grounds of Churchill Hospital, open Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm and no referral is required – so just drop in
