Welcome to Greens Catering,leading event and hospitality caterers. 

A relatively young company but with more than twenty five years of experience with its founders in the food industry.

Through hard work Greens have already established a reputation for quality and imagination with its food and dedication to their clients in both the private and corporate sectors.

Greens are and have been of service to:

a wide ranging group of international companies such as the Forte & Stakis empires, inter-continental hotels and Ramada.King Sturge. Historic Scotland. Chamber of Commerce.Newbattle Abbey and Radio Forth.

 Working along side many well known ' celebrities' aswell as organising events with them- a pinnacle of which was with Peter Halliday in presenting the now infamous 'Beckham's Japenese Garden Party' prior to the 2002 World Cup.

Greens are a respected organisation within all sectors of the restaurant, hotel & corporate hospitality industry.

We have been  a guest food writer for The Observer offering readers an insight into the passion, dedication and skill needed to succeed in one of the most competetive and challenging environments.

Our wealth of experience has been gained in acclaimed establishments throughout  the U.K ,  aswell as time in Europe as food development directors for one of the largest international hotel groups in the world, specialising in business, leisure and ofcourse fine cuisine and five star service.

With Sodexho Prestige we covered events such as Royal Ascot which provided corporate hospitality to over 12,000 diners per day on exclusive racing  packages aswell as the more intimate Luncheon rooms where the stars, celebrities and royality were wined and dined.

In 2004 we took the helm at the five star One Devonshire Gardens, turning Gordon Ramsays 'Amarylis' into 'Room' at One Devonshire.

Operating from the heart of Glasgows West End and acheiving glowing press reviews for the revival of the restaurant and eventually acclaimations from Scottish Food Reviewers aswell as rosettes for inventive and outstanding cuisine from the AA Food Guide.

Our people and their skills are sought after in the Scottish Food Market, regularly contributing our time to the development of young chefs in local colleges aswell as being involved in development planning for Indulgence foods - a company which provides luxury food items to many leading high street food retailers.

 

We now provide food for events large or small, private parties, birthdays,anniversaries, christenings, weddings, lunches, dinners,conferences and training days, boardroom events, annual dinners , barbeques and funerals aswell as being a nominated caterer for events at Newbattle Abbey College.

 

Using all our experience with food and working closely with each individual booking and client on a one to one basis the aim is to provide quality food for any occasion specifically made to order and in line with price requirements.

 By committing ourselves to only one function on any given date we can work with you to arrange a menu that fits your occasion and your budget.

Greens is primarily a family business , after confirming your event we  will then appoint one of our staff as your co-ordinator for all your needs regarding the event.This ensures you always speak to someone who is personally involved with your booking, knows you and understands exactly what you are looking for.

Dining at home, at work , for a special occasion , for any occasion - from a finger buffet to a corporate fine dining event we assure our complete attention to giving you only the best.
